E-Signature Request Form

What is an Electronic Signature?

An electronic signature is data added to an electronic document to identify the signer. According to Law No. 5070, an electronic signature is equivalent to a wet signature. The signing process is performed using certificates distributed by authorized certificate providers.

Your electronic signature is delivered on a smart card. You can access the system by inserting your signature card into a standard smart card reader.

How to Obtain an Electronic Signature?

Electronic signatures are provided by Electronic Certificate Service Providers approved by the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK). You can find a list of these companies and more information at www.btk.gov.tr.

To use your electronic signature, you first need to install the card driver software. This software may be included on a CD or other media that comes with the electronic signature or can be obtained from the website of the company from which you purchased the electronic signature. If you can access your electronic certificate using the installed program, your certificate is ready for use.
